Consistent taste
Coffee and food made to the same standard every day, whoever is on shift.

Karpen Coffee opened in 2021 in Pilangbango, Madiun. It is a family story: the owner is a carpenter's son.

The name Karpen comes from carpenter. The owner is a carpenter's son. That gave us the name, and the wood that shaped the place from day one.

Karpen sits in a quiet corner of Pilangbango. From the yard you can see the rice fields, and every so often a train rolls past.
What we were after was simple from the start: good food and drinks, a comfortable place and friendly service. The rest we have learned along the way.

A small coffee shop to drink coffee and spend time together. A lot was improvised, and every day taught us something new.

We got to know our regulars, refined the recipes and built the team. Friendly service turned out to matter as much as good coffee.

Not just a place for coffee, but somewhere easygoing and warm. Plenty of people dropped by once and kept coming back.

We sorted out roles and standards, so the taste and the service stay the same whoever is on shift.

Friends, families, communities and people looking for a quiet spot meet here. They are what makes Karpen matter.

A new chapter is on its way, keeping everything that makes people feel at home here.
Coffee and food made to the same standard every day, whoever is on shift.

Clean, safe and easy to stay a while. To meet up, to talk or to work.

We work with discipline and respect, including time to pray during the working day.

A place to chase dreams, to grow and to create, with work done responsibly and worship done sincerely.
Provide quality coffee and products with consistent standards.
